We have just finished our first round of “Taste of Italy…” classes. We offered a taste of Puglia, Sicily and Calabria. The second round of Spring classes is coming up in March and April.. These classes will be a permanent addition to our class line up. We will also be offering a “Taste of Malta” very soon. All of these classes offer a taste of the cuisine featured on our International Food & Wine Experiences, both existing tours and future tours.
Each of the classes are offered on Saturday evenings from 4pm- 8pm and are great for “Date Night”! Bring your own wine and relax with others who enjoy food and wine. All the hands on classes include instruction, recipes and a 4 course meal plus mineral water and espresso. The maximum is 10 participants so it is an intimate class with lots of discussion. If you have joined us on a tour this is a great way to relive it alittle or if you are planning on joining us for a future tour get a “taste” of the wonderful food of the Mediterranean!
As I write this the kitchen still smells like the zucchini fritters, fresh pappardelle pasta with braised pork, seasonal salad, roasted peaches with amaretto cream and crushed amaretti cookies! It was a Taste of Calabria last night which is especially close to my heart as Calabria is my ancestral home. We plan on a Calabria food & wine experience in 2018.
So it may be cold out here in Southern Ontario but it is always warm in our kitchen! We travel to the Mediterranean for a few hours with new foodie friends to enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean…why not plan on joining us?
Ciao for now, Natalina
